1. When will the candidates for the Association of Alumni election be announced?

The Association of Alumni Committee on Nominations will announce candidates by December 21, 2009. The deadline for petition candidates to file for inclusion on the ballot is January 11, 2010.

2. When will the results of the Association of Alumni election be announced?

Under the Association of Alumni constitution, the results of the election must be announced at the association annual meeting on April 10, 2010.

3. Who may vote in Association of Alumni elections?

All alumni may vote. Alumni are defined as those who have matriculated at Dartmouth and whose class has graduated, or who have received a graduate degree from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. All alumni of the professional schools are eligible to vote. Honorary degree recipients, exchange students, and adopted alumni are not eligible to vote.

4. Could you clarify the ways in which alumni can vote in this election?

Alumni will be able to vote by paper ballot or online. If you vote online AND by paper ballot, your paper ballot will be the one that is counted.
